Limit Exceptions / Concision
(1)No maximum age limit for candidates of SC/SC(A)/ST/MBC/BC/BCM
who have higher educational qualification than minimum educational
qualification SSLC (HSC / Degree / Diploma)
(2) Not Eligible - “Others” [ i.e., Candidates not belonging
to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs] who have put in 5 years of service
in the State / Central Government are not eligible even if they are within the
age limit.
(3) The Technical and Non-Technical Staff of TANSI who have
faced retrenchment and have not been absorbed in the Government / Corporations/
Undertakings may also apply, if they are otherwise qualified except age. The
relevant age rule will be relaxed by the Government in their favour if they
come up for selection.

Exam 2015 through a supplementary notification dated 20-10-2015. Now the
total number of vacancies in Group 2A Exam 2015 becomes 1947 Posts.

Government's 280 Common E-Service Centres - TNPSC new Chairman Dr.
K. Arulmozhi. IAS announced. This new facility will be a blessing for

Public Service Commission has to make changes as per the corrections .
The Hindu English newspaper says that the TNPSC Chairman also hoped that
the TNPSC Group 4 2014 Result may be published with in the end of this month (May 2015) .

Yes, there are exceptions for certain categories in the maximum age limit to apply. The details as follows.
There is no maximum age limit for TNPSC Group 4 Exam candidates belonging to
SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all
castes who possess a qualification higher than General Educational
Qualification (SSLC / 10th) (For example, if you have passed passed
12th / H.S.C / Diploma /Degree / PG you dont have maximum age limit).
What is the Educational Qualification to apply TNPSC Group 4 2014 ?
The
required educational qualification to apply TNPSC Group 4 Exam is SSLC /
10th . The candidate should have completed the SSLC or 10th as on the
notification date of TNPSC Group 4 Exam 2014.
20% reservation of vacancies for Persons Studied in Tamil Medium (PSTM)

Notification 2014 gives the following condition for claiming PSTM
reservation.
"Candidates claiming PSTM reservation should have studied the prescribed qualification (For TNPSC Group 4 Exam, SSLC / 10th is the prescribed qualification) for particular post in Tamil Medium and should have the certificate for that."
Is there any Technical Qualification in the TNPSC Group 4 Exam ?
Yes there are some technical qualification for particular jobs like typist.
1. Technical Qualification for Typist Job
Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting:-
(i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or)
(ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or)
(iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.
2.Technical Qualification for Steno-Typist Grade III
Must have passed the Government Technical Examination both in Typewriting and in Shorthand:-
(i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or)
(ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or)
(iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.

Examination Fees for TNPSC Group 4 Exam ?
For candidates completed One Time Registration - Rs.75 /-
For candidates not completed One Time Registration should pay additional Rs.50 / - as Application Fee .
*** If you are applying for first time, first do One Time Registration in the www.tnpscexams.net website . It costs Rs.50/- and valid for next 5 years(You need not pay application fee for next 5 years) .***
How can I pay Examination Fee ?
You have two options to pay examination fee for TNPSC Group 4 Examination by online as well as offline

Credit Card / Net Banking, you can easily pay the examination fee

Notification Date : 1st Week of July 2014
Exam Date : 19.10.2014
